With almost one month under our belts in the new year things are starting to settle back down into the usual routine. How many of you made New Year’s resolutions? Mine is to figure out how I like my eggs cooked. If you have seen the movie “Runaway Bride” then you’ll know what I’m talking about. If you haven’t well you’ll just have to watch the movie to understand what I’m talking about:) Maybe you decided to learn a new language? Well, I just may be able to help you with that!
Starting in February we will be having the same type of classes that we offered starting in January. There will be an INTRODUCTORY course, two BEGINNERS courses and an INTERMEDIATE course. There is also going to be another FAMILY class but right now I am trying to figure out the best time to have it.
The INTRODUCTORY course is for those who don’t know any kind of American Sign Language. You will learn the alphabet, colors, numbers, days of the week, grammar rules and of course Deaf Culture. There will be other things we will be going over too!
The Beginners classes are for those who know the basics of ASL. If you have already taken a beginner course with us feel free to take another one. We don’t repeat materials so you can keep on taking beginner classes until you feel comfortable enough to go into a “voice-off” class. In the past we have learned Medical signs, fortune telling, food, weather and so much more!
Deciding to go into the Intermediate course shouldn’t be taken lightly. These classes are mostly voice off. These classes are a lot of fun. We look deeper into the language and how it works and do a lot of story telling.
If these classes don’t fit your schedule shoot us an email and we can set up private classes or online classes That fits your schedule and needs.
